The FT800 will combine a 24 bit (manipulated) RGB output with touch panel=
=20
controller and sound capabilities. All can be run via I2C or SPI from an 8=
=20
bit uC.

They haven't listed price or when it will be available other than sometime=
=20
this year. Will come in a 48LD QFN package.

As they have been developing this in co-operation with Mikroelektronika, I=
=20
suspect that company will provide add on video boards at some point=20
containing the chip.
