Unrelated to 2012 DA14 flyby later in day.
Best information apparently comes from a network of infrasound sensors
operated by the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).
Detected by ultrasound at up to 6500 km away.

Asteroid belt origin
About 17 meters in diameter,
Weighed about 10,000 metric tons,
Velocity  40,000 mph / 65,000 kph .
About 20 degrees to horizontal
About 30 second survival.
Reentry visibility probably from about 100 km altitude
About 470 kT
