Also, the old CRT monitors have a very fine pixel screen mesh. I
use it to cover the big-ish holes in ventilation grilles. Stops a lot
of fluffy dust, which is good (cleanliness) or bad (airflow) depending
on the application

If you don't have a monitor to bash, a recycling depot will, and
they'll possibly let you loose with a hammer. Don't forget the first
swing should be to the neck (under a cloth) to break the vacuum
