The physical user interface is an IR remote. It has Composite and HDMI=20 outputs so it can be connected to a TV. Playing video is its primary=20 function. BAJ The IR remote would be OK, but needing to turn on a TV is not. The=20 major user would be the wife, who is not super with electronic stuff. I=20 need to keep it simple. :) She would be looking for a simple turn on,=20 push a couple of buttons to select an artist or genre, and maybe shuffle=20 sort of things. Approximately equivalent to starting a cassette tape or=20 CD. :) We have enough ways to watch TV, with Directv DVR's and an antenna to=20 get the local sub channels, looking like some sort of streaming TV is=20 coming along for the ride on a DVR player. That's a whole new area, I'll=20 have to get familiar with. :) --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
