Hi Oli, Glad you found the chip info, I also looked at the stn chip. I have a couple of obd2 cables from ebay that work well for the price. I think that some one on the list actually owns or works for Scantool, But I will let him id itself if he wishes. There are a lot of info around for all this, which I collected over the last two months, the elm327 type of chip is great, as you can dedicate effort to develop the software to talk to it insted of trying to decipher all the standards for obd2 comunications.
