If anyone owns or has access to a WakaWaka solar powered LED light. and would be happy to answer a simple question would they please advise me accordingly. Russell apptechnz~at~gmail.com Advice can be on list or off - if on list, tell people what you think of them - it's liable to be a positive and enthusiastic comment. My question is no great secret long term but I'd like to ask / discuss off list initially and I'd probably ask that you don't say anything about what I asked publically for a few weeks. Please reply with gentleman's NDA if willing and able to comment - "Sure - I won't tell other people what you were asking about for at least 2 weeks" (Question is not aimed to harm WW in any way. May help them or be neutral depending on answer) WakaWaka is a double kickstarter funded project to build a solar powered light. 1st time was for the basic light and second time for a phone charger capable version. They appear to have sold millions of them so far. WakaWaka is a light with commendable aims and capabilities. Both versions use an "Intivation" brand MPPT IC to match a low voltage PV panel to the battery for charging, and the 'Power' version uses the latest 23% efficient PV cells. Aims are long life, good capability, high lumen hours per sunshine hour and good value for money.
