Software support=20 is the bane of the arm linux/andriod world and I wouldn't buy any arm=20 linux device for a project without checking out how good or bad the=20 software support is. Maybe one day arm hardware will become like PC hardware where you can=20 nearly always grab a generic install image for your OS of choice and=20 install it without too many problems but attitudes at vendors will have=20 to change a lot for that to happen. Andriod is ok as a phone/tablet OS but for desktop and embedded uses i'd=20 much rather have a more regular linux system. Also even if I was to use=20 andriod i'd want some confidence that upgrades would be available. Given that no brand is listed I cant check this one out. However I=20 suspect this is from some small GPL violating chineese vendor and you=20 will be pretty much stuck with whatever version of andriod it ships with. --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
