I recently asked Russell about Li-ion cells to replace dead cordless
tool NiCd

After a couple of hours I'd come across both Ultrafire and SureFire,
and many others too. Every single one had some caveat, a report of
bad construction, poor performance, over-specced, fake, etc

So I concluded I can't trust any Li-ion except the quite expensive
from 'trusted' suppliers. And even then I'd have to test them to be
quite sure I've not been ripped off

Decided I will use a 12V SLA and inverter. Inconvenient in one
way, probably needing to have the battery in a "fanny pack" or on
a belt, but at least the tool itself will be lighter
