I recently returned from 18 days in Shenzhen
Shuangalong is the furthest station on the subway line that served as my
travel artery either to work in an outer suburb, or into the city proper.

I was largely trapped behind the Great Firewall of China - dead GMail,
Facebook, Wikimapia, crippled Google, Flickr more ...
I used remote access software to reach out and touch my home system but did
not send many trip related emails.

Misc photos here - so far in  a Facebook album
May set up on Flickr once I find how to use it properly (fee Pro acct with
my recently changed broadband  account)

MAY send out some emails - comments, photos whatever once the world slows
to normal pace again.

should be at least interesting.

eg how do you find the world's largest electronic component market without
getting lost, how do you find the test instruments building, is there
REALLY a station in the middle of a vast park as the map shows, what sort
of hotel can you expect for $US20/night (quite good actually), how do I get
around the Great Firewall, the only way to =3Dget to Baon airport, what's
this foo yung stuff, why not to buy USB ir SD or ... memory in China, best
place to change money INTO RMB, ... .
