Yes - no problem.
They are happy to be shorted or OC'd or loaded as wished.

Use a reverse protection diode though.

Shorting a large enough panel bank CAN cause wiring damage.
About 5A/100W.
4 x 100W panels =3D 20A or so.
Around 400 W into a 1 Ohm short :-)
