Reopening an old thread, I came across this Motor Driver chip DS on the Mic=
rochip Recently Released Datasheets. For the Ops use it claims to be able t=
o drive two DC motors, although all the write-up appears to be related to i=
ts primary use of driving a two phase stepper motor. Am considering getting=
 some samples to investigate in place of the MOSFET driver chips I was orig=
inally contemplating.

Only comes in an SOP package though.
