For those who are interested, the url http://hertaville.com/2012/09/28/stellaris-launchpad-workshop-materials-rel= eased/ has a little info. There is no way I can justify the price of the=20 compiler but there are free options available. I am from the old school programming world and I find most IDE's to be=20 an impairment. Edit, compile, link and run is my preferred mode of=20 operation. The last couple of weeks I have been spending too much time with Eclipse=20 (minGW C, Python and Android) with great frustration. There is an=20 abundance of information for all of those but for the most part it does=20 not seem to match my particular circumstances. The Android folks have=20 their package setup so that it just installs without guessing. In all=20 fairness, I have not gone past the install point with the Android package. I do intend to continue the struggle because I think I need to know it. BTW, I have forgotten the preferred posting: Top or Bottom? I do try to remember to snip the excess and the current Thunderbird=20 seems to keep only what you highlight IF YOU HILIGHT before you select=20 reply...I think! --=20 John Ferrell W8CCW "The man who complains about the way the ball bounces is likely to be the one who dropped it." =20 --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
