Dear All, Thank you very much for all the info. Perry, thanks for the manual that is exactly what I needed. All the info just allowed me to actually look for the right thing, which resulted in even more interesting info. I will start by testing the ignition switch using the manual's procedure, as I am starting to think that all the components are ok, probably just not correctly placed, and go from there. Like I said before, if I just wanted a chainsaw I would have just bought a new one, but I find this small engines interesting and one thing I know is that this chainsaw will work again, even if I have to build a new DCCDI unit with a small 12V battery.
