Debind
Place pages in "printer"
LASER cut each page in turn.
Spray each page with a glue film as it leaves cutter.
Pressure laminate into 3D model

Or leave bound and with book on table in reading orientation, fan
pages vertically, LASER cut and let complete page turning action.
Given enough development this could get so fast that all you see is a
book being "fanned" and a 3D form emerges.
