Perhaps they'll be more interested?  MIPS only attracted Microchip in that =
space, while there were a bunch of players in the higher end MIPS space.

I'm still wondering where the x86-architecture microcontrollers are, given =
that the patents have expired=85  Perhaps the CISC architecture really does=
n't scale down as well as a RISC.
