The last time I tried a free crossover (~2008, version 7.1). I think I conc=
luded that it did some nice things, but not really the things I wanted to d=
o with it that would have been relevant to microcontroller development.  I =
wanted to have simple windows commands INTEGRATE with my mac environment, s=
o I could do things like:
    wine /Users/billw/Applications/WineApps/cc5x/cc5x.exe -IC:cc5x -p16c57 =
main.c
while crossover seemed to make efforts to keep the windows apps "bottled up=
" in their own mini-environments=85
