At my first job 35 years ago, I was tasked to cut an aluminum heat sink=20
extrusion with a table saw. To my great surprise, a carbide tipped blade=20
went through it like butter leaving a perfect edge.  The saw didn't slow=20
down in the least.  So cutting them might be a good solution.
