Thanks for everyone for the responses. Yes, probably more pixels are better for seeing more source lines or debug / console window which is usually placed on the bottom by Xcode. I have almost bought a super high resolution one, Achieva ShiMian QH270-IPSMS, which has the same LG panel as the much more expensive Apple monitor. However, the shipping cost is little bit over $100 where I said hang on a minute... :-) Anyway, I may try today at Costco, thanks for the advise. I have bought my TV there and was cheaper than on Amazon or Buy.com, so I might get lucky with this one too.
