I want to connect an external audio source to my telephone's microphone=20
cables(signal and mass) for it to act as the microphone. To make this=20
clear, I am talking about the connection between my telephone(siemens=20
euroset 2020) and it's handset, ie I bought a new cord with a 4p4c plug=20
at each end, cut it through, connected the 4p4c plug with the socket in=20
my telephone and figured out which two cables of it go to the microphone.

For this I want to know which max. voltage level I should aim at for the=20
audio source.

I decided to put an audio transformer (1:6) between audio source and=20
microphone connection, so I need to know the max. voltage of the audio=20
source before the transformer.
