Actually, a guy named Junior Veloso has been experimenting this=20 (projectors, resins, sources, etc) for a couple years now IIRC on the 3D=20 printing mailing list and got this working nicely prob over a year ago. =20 Then he offered it as a product but at a very high price so others=20 decided to roll their own and start kickstarter projects of this. I'm=20 sure there are others too. Junior didn't invent this, but was prob the=20 first to come up with a working DIY machine. Lots of kudos to him for=20 figuring out the details. And yes, I've heard the same -- great for models, but strength is less=20 than ABS extruders or powder/sintering machines. Cheers, -Neil.
