In windows use unlocker just google unlocker.1.8.7 and use that

There is some contravursy about a file it tries to install (ebay.exe) =20
but i've never noticed this being an issue and this may not be the =20
case with version 1.9.1 which is now out.

I've used it to unlock files especially when they get locked on =20
something you wish to remove.

I wouldnt be without it on a "windows" pc.
