Qualified people seeking work do not want to make a full presentation unles= s they know they are not likely to be wasting their time. Perhaps you coul= d create a step by step process where they can get their cards out on the t= able while you do the same. You might want to consider the evidence regard= ing how fast a candidate picks up new skills. I am happy for the internet.... I have driven to job interviews only to arrive and find out part way throug= h the interview that I must know *xyz* by heart.... That is... I am 95% qua= lified but that is not enough. They are not interested in my ability to re= search / learn new stuff. This means 1/2 day wasted when Skype would have = saved the day. Are there other combinations of people and locations that might satisfy you= r requirements ? Perhaps someone who can be at your location 100% of the t= ime who can be supplemented by and learn from .... some remote support con= tract people ?
