Hi all,

A long time ago I noticed that a rubber band feels cool after it is
stretched and released. Given that the temperature difference is
small, I never could figure out a good way to measure it. I just
realized that my recently-acquired thermal camera is perfect for it.
Well, I just did the experiment and it clearly is true - this
particular band cools by about 2 degrees C (below ambient):

I have since discovered that others on Youtube have already done
exactly the same thing (view rubber band cooling on thermal cameras).
My video is better, though - more modern camera :)
