I am looking for a low power RTC, something like the DS1337 (400nA timekeeping current) that has a non-inverted alarm interrupt. The interrupt is used to control a gate on a MOSFET (I'd prefer to not pull the MOSFET gate high during non-interrupt periods). I am working a very long battery life problem (5 years) so I am trying to keep the parts count to a bare minimum. The RTC is used to power up the entire board, it runs off unregulated battery between alarms (another nice thing about the DS1337, Vcc up to 5.5V). Any ideas? --=20 Glen Wiley "A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
