JustHost (I've used them for a short time) - runs Linux, allows SSH access
(you have to call them and verify your address the first time), standard
Linux tools (wget stuff easily), allows cron jobs, has standard PHP, MySQL,
Apache.

While the standard LAMP setup works, the far better route is Nginx,
PHP-FPM, PostgreSQL.
