You get "points" for questions or answers.
You can be a top question asker if you ask top questions :-).
You can also get overall negative results from asking questions
adjusted nonmeritorious by the masses.
Points up or down are scored by user vote.
They do not always indicate relative or absolute merit, in my opinion.
