It looks a nice device, Android 4.1 is definitely a plus so it has the latest and this version seems to a be a good one to me. I would say the downside is more the screen size and type. If you are looking for an e-book reader, it is much better to go for an e-ink type screen in my opinion. Also I would go for bigger screen, 9-10". As the top quality of these devices if you go to your local Apple store and look at the iPad 3 retina display for an hour, you will not want to go back to another type of LCD screens, it is that good. In addition to the screen there are much more apps for iPad than Android tablets, and battery life is better (this is where Apple devices are almost unbeatable whether it is MacBook or iDevices). More expensive though. If you still thinking about that Nexus 7, you may can also consider Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet (this biggest challenger on 7 inch Androids). That is with keyboard and USB adapter and microSD card slot and the review claims it has better battery life and performance: http://www.engadget.com/2012/08/09/samsung-galaxy-tab-2-7-0-student-edition= / Tamas On 10 August 2012 12:03, Dwayne Reid wrote: > Good day to all. > > I'm considering the purchase of a Google Nexus 7.
