I assumed the OP had changed the opamp V+ to a different value for the=20
LM358, then re-adjusted the pot.

Good catch on the pull down, I suspected pretty much that looking at the=20
bipolar output stage.

See <http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snoa662a/snoa662a.pdf> for why the OP=20
should set some bounds on the definition of "generic" for this circuit.
