I am posting this in [PIC] to reach all. There should be no need for discussion. If you really need to discuss it, you must manually change the topic tag to [OT] in your reply. There has been some unintentional abuse of topic tags, both today and a week ago, so I thought it would be useful to give a quick rundown for those of you who might be confused. A full list is at piclist.com. You should visit it before starting a new thread, especially if you are posting something out of the ordinary. Topic tags are not automatic. When you create a new post, you are responsible for putting a tag in the subject line. Every post must have ONE, and only one, topic tag in the subject line. Do not send a duplicate message with a different tag to "reach more people". [PIC] if a PIC is directly involved. This will generally be software, or electrical only as regards the PIC itself. [EE] is for the fun of interfacing or non-PIC/AVR/SX micros.=20 Almost everyone is signed up for both [PIC] and [EE] so you are safe using [EE] if you predict the conversation will drift into EE. [AD] you are selling or offering something. In other words, the money goes to you. [BUY] you want to give money for something. This includes trying to hire a consultant. Do not post an ad or a request in anything but [AD] or [BUY] in an attempt to "reach more people".=20 People who don't subscribe to [AD] and [BUY] hate that kind of thing, whether they tell you or not, and they will remember you. That covers the recent abuses, for more detail please visit piclist.com and read the full list.
