I'm just learning my way around MPLAB-X, and reintroducing myself to=20 PICs after a long lapse, so please forgive me if I get some terminology=20 wrong. I am importing the object file into my project. With MPLAB-8, this=20 seemed easy... select the object file, click add, change the file to "C"=20 for copy, rename, and click next. MPLAB-X does not seem to offer this=20 functionality, or else I am overlooking something. In MPLAB-X, I right click over 'source files', click 'add existing=20 item', and navigate to the object directory and choose the appropriate=20 PIC template file. This seems to add the file to the project with the=20 path pointing directly to the object directory rather than a copy of the=20 file in the project directory. Therefore, it also cannot be renamed. =20 The only resolution I have discovered is to use Windows Explorer to copy=20 the file, paste it to the project directory, and then rename it. I'm sure I'm overlooking something 'simple'. This obviously can be done=20 directly from within MPLAB-X? I am running MPLAB-X 1.20 on a Windows 7 64bit platform. Thanks for any assistance.
