I got a thin cheap crappy one with a=20 stencil kit from stencilsunlimited and it was junk, and could not=20 understand how to use it for this purpose. I've found that a plastic=20 bondo-squeegee (from an auto parts store) works well, and I recently=20 picked up a more sturdy metal (stainless steel I believe) putty knife=20 (~4 inches wide) from a hardware store for this purpose, which I heard=20 works well, but I haven't tried yet. Do you mean alpacca silver? I'm not sure what a putty knife will do to=20 that, so you can try the plastic bondo squeegee first.
