Of course not, the cpu is an ARM WM8505, i was asking if there was at least= a programming software (like pic2cmd) but now i don't think so :) maybe if= i install debian and then try to build it...... i don't know. Anyway, I use virtualbox with the connection errors you mentioned. It's har= d to use correctly any USB device. I had to use a "any" filter because it w= ouldn't work with a pickit2/3 specific one. (I'm not the only one with this= problem, there are a couple of topics in the virtualbox forum) What system= do you emulate? I emulate XP because it does the thing i ask him and as fa= r as i know needs less resources than seven, please correct me if i'm wrong= .. I used parallels for a while and the usb switching is really well impleme= nted but then decided to switch to Vbox because 1) At least vbox is free 2)= Parallel is way heavier than vbox, you don't have to use compressed vhdd e= tc to start up in decent times 3) The virtual graphic card in parallels is = obscene. Believe me, for gaming and mikroe software it's way better to use = wine! and vbox, of course. Ah, the programming should work perfectly in parallels, i never had such pr= oblems back then > Date: Thu, 5 Jul 2012 21:03:30 -0700 > Subject: Re: [PIC] Pickit 2/3 and windows CE... possible? > From: tamas.rudnai@gmail.com > To: piclist@mit.edu >=20 > On 4 July 2012 09:05, Jacopo Monegato wrote: >=20 > > I have here a "netbook" with a WM8505 CPU @300 MHz and windows CE6 onbo= ard > > and i wondered if i could use it with the pickit and or picCMD and or m= plab > > and or others. >=20 >=20 > I am not sure if a non-x86 compatible CPU will ever run an application > compiled to x86, so I would be surprised if that works for you.
