The Raspberry PI is a Linux machine. Anybody familiar with Linux feels right at home. Even better it runs a distro I like and am familiar with. Getting a Raspberry Pi and expecting it to be "windows like" means the person had the wrong expectation. That is not a fault of the hardware.
