I'd expect that 10%+ would be good. While direct injection green LASERS are starting to become available in eg projector system the vast majority to date are DPSS (Diode Pumped Solid State) with a red laser at around 880 nm pumping a Nd:YVO4 crystal to produce 1064 nm IR output which is frequency doubled to green at 532 nm. This multistage process is (not surprisingly) somewhat lossy - so anyting over 10% end to end is probably acceptable. > (4) can you *really* make a dot on a star ? ;-))) > http://nz.ioffer.com/i/power-green-laser-pointer-5000mw-532nm-burn-match-= 502179752 Only in Hollywood.
