If you like the PIC32 Starter Kits, take a look at the DM320002 - PIC32 I/O Expansion Board- list price is $72 and you can plug the starter kit into it and then plug any PICTail+ into it. Another feature I like is that it lets me choose if I want to use the programmer that is part of the starter kit, or plug in a ICD3/Real Ice via an RJ11. If you have a Real Ice, the expansion board gives you a place connect the trace cable.
