IIRC, gerber doesn't have "unfilled" pads (though I guess it's technically =
possible, since a pad is just some pre-defined shape.) Actually plotting ho=
les in the center of the pads would involve somehow subtracting the holes f=
rom the plot (which is not usually a photoplotter function?)  I can't imagi=
ne why a board house would do this=85
