I have a commercial device with a defective OTP chip that is unavailable=20 for repair. The current scheme is to fabricate a PIC module on a PC=20 Board that plugs into the OTP socket to provide appropriate power and=20 port connections. The osc & pgm connections would be on the new PCB.=20 Software would need to be written from scratch. This is a hobby/academic subject for me and I have yet to work with any=20 PIC's other than DIP. Until I develop the skills needed for a smaller=20 package, my project is on hold!
