Hello all,
I'm interested in hearing about sources for high-end camera boards, in
a similar form to this:
http://sales.hamamatsu.com/assets/pdf/hpspdf/e_c11440.pdf

In case you don't want to open that PDF, I'm looking for a bare PCB
with camera chip and supporting circuitry, or PCB enclosed in case
that can be removed.

Important characteristics are:
- Small pixel size
- Monochrome
- USB or firewire with driver and API available
- Hopefully protective glass could be removed to expose bare CMOS chip
