=20 Most phones only have Slave mode; my tablet (running 2.2) only has Host mode. A lot of the newer tablets now have both Host and Slave.=20 I think it may be doable if the source code for your phone is available, someone's probably come up with an alternate ROM; I've seen older phones with a kernel modification, that if you boot with a diy USB dongle attached (a couple of resistors I believe) it would switch to Host mode for that session.
