I do something similar for one setup I have: its a largish 12V AGM=20 battery (something on the order of 75 AH) in a carrying bag, along=20 with AGM charger, a 400W power inverter and a set of jumper cables. The Anderson Power Pole connectors I am using are rated at 60A and=20 they have been reliable for at least 10 years now. The wire is 6 AWG=20 from the battery but only 8 AWG to the jumper clips. However, it works wel= l. Gets used for jump-starting vehicles only a few times per year and=20 has seen a LOT of use over the past couple of years for testing a=20 couple of pipeline Injection Pump controllers that we manufacture. dwayne --=20 Dwayne Reid Trinity Electronics Systems Ltd Edmonton, AB, CANADA (780) 489-3199 voice (780) 487-6397 fax www.trinity-electronics.com Custom Electronics Design and Manufacturing --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
