I use my Promate II on my Windows 64 bit with a Prolific USB to Serial=20 converter. I actually have two different Prolific USB converters but it wil= l=20 only work properly on one of them (the cheapo nasty one). I've also used it under Linux running Virtualbox in the odd emergency. Not sure about the Picstart but can't see why not.
