I'm looking at a design that uses a serial input DAC with the data from a P= IC micro.=A0 The reference design shows the micro ground tied to the DAC di= gital ground (makes sense of course), and what appears to be a single groun= d point from the remainder of the analog grounds back to the micro ground (= single point). So I am assuming that 1. power source is common on the board, so it should go thru a ferrite bead= /cap to prevent noise in/out between the two circuits. 2.=A0 The DAC analog grounds should be an island with a single connection b= ack to the digital ground, preferably tied on the bottom of the board under= neath the digital control signals.
