You get to talk to many other people who use Microchip parts, *and* the actual designers of the parts. You get some insight into the business and why things get done the way they have been done. With just datasheets and forums, you don't get as immersive an experience. Being at Masters will help you focus, if only for a few days, on the subject of Microchip parts and how they can help you accomplish your end goal.
