Quality varies widely. Epoxy will not last more than a few years max if always outdoors and can be far less. Latest trend in low cost lights is PET plastic with heat laminated EVA adhesive for bonding. Best are flurocarbon plastics or purpose built silicone rubbers. (eg Dow Corning PV6100).
