Yup, I was in the 10K range too, although the datasheet suggests from 100K = to 1M, it can sink 400uA and bring the line to 0.2V, so it can handle the 10K resi= stor for sure. I'm gonna purchase some LP2951's now and proceed this route, i.e. not as Yo= u exactly suggested but ERRORn to Vcc through 10K, and ERRORn straight to MCL= R. Programmer straight to MCLR too. ERRORn is open drain. This way the MPU show be forced reset until power is really ~3.3V Gonna do some tests now with a TPS75715 I found somewhere, which is overkil= l (3A) but has a similar ERRORn output.
