So my home has a lot of trees, meaning that any particular location gets li= ttle to no direct sunlight, though it may have a view of "open sky") and of= course gets overall daylight illumination that is considerably brighter th= an inside illumination. My question is whether reflectors are of any use in "concentrating" indirec= t light so as to convince conventional solar cells to have a greater output= for charging the batteries that they're connected to? Picture one of thos= e cheap "solar garden lights" with a parabolic "thing" around the otherwise= pitiful solar cells. (or perhaps in addition to a SC upgrade.) Will it i= mprove things?
