IPA is used, I'm told, for extracting Cannabis resin.

My local chemist shop would only sell me 50cc at a time at a truly
horrendous price. I had to sigh a register.

A few months later I chanced to wander through a shopping centre in a
lower socio economic area in Auckland and found 1,2 and 4 litre
bottles of IPA at far far better prices. I asked the shop owner if he
sold much, thinking that he may do a roaring trade init. He said he
only sells a bottle every few months. I told him about the use for
resin production and he was surprised. Seemed genuine. No signature
required.
