Depending on who is with you, you could do a day trip to Neuschwanstein cas=
tle (reputedly the prototype for Disneys Peter Pan castle).

A lot of places are within easy day trips on the train, the booking staff a=
t the railway station will all speak good English, so getting a ticket is n=
ot a problem.
