It isn't often that I find datasheets written in a way that is easy to=20 understand and with all the information present. After having=20 experimented with the dsPic line for a while I came to hate whomever=20 wrote the documentation for them. I often felt like I was reading cliff=20 note versions and had to hunt down app notes and other documents just to=20 use certain functions and even then was left scratching my head a lot of=20 the time. I needed some really low cost pic chips with just a few peripherals on=20 board and and a friend had some 16f1823 chips, I downloaded the data=20 sheet and am I impressed. Whomever wrote this data sheet needs to be in=20 charge of writing other data sheets for microchip products. They have=20 assembly code for all the functions, tables that make sense and details=20 explained very clearly. It was a pleasure to read rather than a chore.=20 I really wish companies would review the quality of their datasheets=20 more often because quality control on a lot of them is severely=20 lacking. Check out the pic16f1823 data sheet and tell me if it isn't=20 one of the best you have seen. Have fun !
