Ok, so how many MIPS we talking about here? I've seen 700MHz mentioned but=
=20
some time ago I seem to remember reading there was trouble getting=20
instructions out of memory fast enough to feed a 60MHz ARM. Does the=20
700MHz translate to ARM MIPS or is it more to do with the video DAC?

I must admit I'm a bit curious as to why Broadcom hasn't made data sheets=20
readily available. I've heard the story about how they don't want to=20
bother with small customers but that doesn't feel right. I mean, if you=20
(as a manufacturer) are looking for any kind of customer you want=20
engineers to know how wonderful your chips are and come knocking on your=20
door. You don't really want to make it hard for them to evaluate your=20
product AND you REALLY don't want to make them jump through hoops like=20
signing NDAs before they've tied themselves in. The one thing that keeping=
=20
data sheets obscure does give you though is it does keep errata out of the=
=20
public eye. Maybe I'm just cynical.

And another thing - why do we keep hearing $35 and =A335 as if the two=20
currencys are interchangable?
